@Tony Roberts I would doubt if anyone will do a 10 yr loan for a flat 10 percent. I believe where you are making the mistake would be he wants 10 percent a yr.

@Nate Haskins this all depends on the age and goals. At 22 this is not that bad of deal as you can handle more risk and hold the property longer for appreciation. In 5 to 10 yrs u should have cash flow and have good equity in the property. In 15 yrs someone else has paid for the property

I am 60 and need more cash flow for retirement If every 3 yrs you buy the same deal at 52 you would have 10 houses paid for and a ton of cash flow. But at least you started. Your goals will change and you may want to ramp up mote quickly and you can always refinance yo pull money out or go to 30 yr loan. You will be building equity quickly and could do a heloc as well.

Yes buyer be ware. There is a newer 24 unit down the street they want 2.4 million. I think that you got a better deal
