@Manik Zaman I’m interested in seeing the responses as well. If I were to ballpark something like that without knowing all the details I would ballpark $150,000. Then on top of that you have the repairs to all the units from cutting them open for the wiring.  That would probably run a minimum of $1000.00 a unit for drywall repair and paint about $50,000.00 total. Those estimates are probably on the low end too.

@Jennifer D. I don’t believe that but I’m not sure if that is true or not in Atlanta.  Even if it is true you don’t want someone doing work on your property without insurance.  You never know when something can happen.

@Matt Berklacy I like that idea. I have been trying to get a wholesaler to do that with me for some time now. I see vacant homes all the time. I’m gonna send you a text with my info. Look forward to see where this could lead.

@Britt Wilson There shouldn’t be any stipulations to what Gc you can use. If he is actually a state licensed tc then he has to carty all the proper insurances to be able to do work in your county and pull permits.

@Britt Wilson If you have friends(tradesmen) that can do all the work. What is the need for a Gc?  All he does is bring everyone together and make sure all the subs are doing there job. Before anyone replies to the statement I know there is more to a Gc than that.  Being that you know everyone and they know how to do there job you should haven’t to go to the job site that often. They should be able to communicate pretty easily since they are friends.  Since your husband is in that line of work then he probably also knows a Gc that would give him a deal for doing the job.

@Nick Heil Great read and congrats on the success. Where you live is what caught my eye. I have family that lives in Corry. I’m originally from upstate New York myself and we used to go visit for the pig roast they had almost every year.

@Jennifer Ward like @Wayne Brooks stated above it’s usually at final inspection.  At times there are different scenarios but in a panel upgrade it should be after final inspection unless they joey are doing more work. If you pay them in full and it fails inspection the it will be tougher to get them back out. If you have a relationship with them and know they will come back then I don’t see a problem with paying them when they are done.

@Michelle Y. I know there are people that have and they will probably reach out to you. I was told to stay away from him.
