Post: What can I do with the front of this house?

I know that this isn't necessarily a design forum, but I'm curious if anyone has ever dealt with a similar type of house. It looks like they just quit building halfway through on the front of the house.

Most of our budget will be allocated elsewhere, but I am wondering if there is something creative to do here...

@Kyle Gregg Thanks for the input!

I'll see if I can find some local vendors who are knowledgeable in both and find which one makes the most sense.

Looking to purchase a personal residence in San Antonio in the next few months and it may need some work.

Does anyone have any recommendations for 203k or Homestyle lenders for the San Antonio area?

I am leaning towards homestyle because there is a good chance I will need more than 35k in repairs, and from what I am reading the non-streamlined 203k is a hassle.

Anyone in the area have any experience doing these kinds of loans?

Saw this article and thought it was really interesting. This article is talking about Software developer and engineer salaries, not real estate, but I think it can easily be applied.

http://tgeonetta.com/cost-of-living-vs-salary-best...

There is a lot of talk on BP about where to get the best return, what states are better for investing, etc. Adding cost of living to the mix makes the conversation more complicated.

Thoughts?

I personally haven't seen too many people that do rentals at a high range like that. Just think about how much damage could be done to a $300,000 house.

I agree with @Cal C. and @Joshua Springer

If you sell the house, you can use the equity as down payments on 2 or 3 rental properties in the 100k range...and if you buy right you should be able to get a lot more cashflow this way.

Thanks @Brie Schmidt

I remembered hearing somewhere that google wasn't giving as much credence to the actual URL of the site as they used to, but I just wasn't sure.

I am wanting to build a website for wholesaling and I am not sure how to proceed.

I want the site to come up in searches - but there is also part of me that wants to differentiate a little bit. I don't want to be just another one of those "We buy houses" websites, I want to stand out. I want to have a more unique name that won't get confused with the 1,000,000 others in my market.

Having said that, I want to show up search.

Any ideas?
