@Abhishek Prateek

Welcome! Washington scares a lot of people

Away with our prices, but there’s so much potential still here that you can find what it is your looking for.

For just getting started though, I’d recommend going out of the Seattle metroplex. Everett is growing, Tacoma is booming, even Mount Vernon and Burlington are surging.

Any ideas what area you want to start looking in?

@Jared Mathis

Check out HomeSmart. You can be full time or part time as you want. No commission split, just a small fee per transaction. Message me and I’ll get you the managing brokers contact info. We have an office in Everett too.

@Shaklon Sifagaloa

Living in WA, you have a few options as I see it, as I see it. 1) find a place to invest out of state 2) find a local investor you can give your 6k to for a reasonable return 3) find a cheap home and use the 6k as a 3% down. That way you are at least lying you’re own mortgage.

While I know it feels good to have that 6k in the bank, real estate is capital intensive. Unless you have experience in real estate, you’ll probably find it very difficult to get financing with only 6k. That’s why I recommend finding g a local investor and either putting in some sweat equity with them or giving them you 6k as a loan.

Anyway, my $.02.

@Jeremy Wehrly

Welcome Wehrly! Great way to get started. What area will you be moving back to in 2021?

To start, I’d definitely get the various BP books. Also, the first rich dad poor dad. Before I invested in my first house I listed to all of the BP podcast episodes. I’d definitely recommend that as well.

@Barron Peper

It’s a tough market, but totally doable. I’m a little bit north of Seattle, but I’m happy to drive on down for the day to help you find the right place.

Shoot me a message and I’d be happy to answer any questions you have.

@Sun Kim

Have you looked further up the I-5? I’m finding lots of possibilities up here, though sometimes you have to negotiate the price down.

Shoot me a message and I’d be happy to show you a few listings up here that might work for you.
