Any investors in Many indicators show that Central Florida has been the area to invest in investment rental properties and having lived near Tampa this has sparked my interest in perhaps purchasing a rental property. I lived in Clearwater and loved it! Had to move back to Alaska in 2012 so this would be distance investing for me. I know many do it but obviously working with the right people would something that everyone would be looking for. Any investors in this area that would recommend a realtor that works with investors? How about good property managers?

Also, what is this COVID19 crisis doing to the market? Can anyone share some insight?

Thanks in advance!

@Karam A Tascoe- congratulations! Wow, even with all your cash in,the return on your investment with that kind of rent amount is fantastic!

I‘d say getting as much cash out with refinance and replicating it with anything cllose to this woild be the way to go!

I am sitting here in Anchorage,Alaska at 12’ F looking for a flip project and yep,I think moving to GA sounds pretty good now 😀

An investor shared about getting a great deal on a HUD foreclosure- we’re talking 50% less than already reduced price. It was a CASH deal and just around this time, before end of calendar year. He thought HUD was motivated to let go of it in attempt the cut losses and not carry it on the books for the new year. Whatever the motivation he scored a great deal. What is your experience regarding HUD properties?

Thank you all for your email input,I really do appreciate it! I will keep my eyes open for the right deal,if you’re a realtor and know of a deal that is not in the MLS I would obviously consider it,Loyalty is very important to me as well. If you are an investor and you know of a deal that you may not be ready for yourself I would appreciate you sharing that! Thank you again!
