Hi BP, I wanted to introduce myself. I'm 28 and have decided to give real estate investing another serious commitment. I wanted to start investing a few years ago and had bought Short Sale Weath by Shaun McCloskey, but life events prevented me from pursuing any further.

In this New Year after a lot of personal trials I realized I needed to take control of my life and give investing another shot. I am going to wholesale first to get my leg up financially then I would like to get into rehabs and ultimately buy and hold. I have one rental in my hometown and I own my primary residence.

I have been perusing the website and have found a lot of really great information. I am excited and know that this is something that will take time. I want to thank BP in advance for the help I have already received and for the invaluable information on this site.

i see many saying search MLS by financing type, but unless I am looking at the wrong thing that option is not available for the Hampton Roads area of VA. Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering the same thing. I am also planning to start my investing career in the wholesaling field to start. I know that it will take more than 500 but exactly how many thousands is realistic to start with?

Are you saying that you can't make a first deal without putting in thousands first?

This is really good I really like what you had to say @Nathan I am going to put that into action and keep it in mind while compiling my business plan.

I'm a newbie looking to expand my knowledge on wholesaling. There seems to be an endless supply of resources but I have found that it is really hard to really know which is truly helpful compared to the garbage that is being pushed just for a profit.
