Good Afternoon @Jana Kato

You definitely came to the right place. IMO this is the most user-friendly community website for real estate professionals. Despite not profiting on your rentals, have you at least learned from the experience?

Good Morning @Richard Morton

Welcome to BP. I suggest signing up at MeetUp.com and joining groups that are aligned with your goals. You can also joining groups outside of real estate such as business or marketing related groups.  Also, reading the post of people analyzing deals and sharing success stories and the challenges they faced will definitely help.

Feel free to connect.

Hey @Matt Weiss,

On paper, you'll be dealing with a higher quality tenant, however, I would proceed like I would in any area and go through the entire process of vetting a few property managers and qualifying a tenant.

Hope this helps.

@Kennesha Powell

I have not worked with a lot of HML so I can only speak from experience. I would recommend Sherman Bridge Lending or Lima One. It depends on your situation. Another community member, @Kweillin Gordon may also be able to assist you.

Hope this helps.

Honestly, what's best for me may not be what's best for you. However, I really liked the OnCourse learning program. It was online and self paced. Plus I did the weekend crash course.

@Quentin Scandrett Welcome to BP. The resources here are unrivaled. As a new investor, I suggest reading and asking as many questions as possible. Just like you, people come from all walks of life bringing different experiences and outlooks.
