Hi @Rishiraj Singh! Welcome and thank you for sharing your story. You are very young and if you continue down this pathway, it can become lucrative. I wish I had started investing earlier, and I recently just became an agent. It sounds like you have the right people around you, and you have the right mindset by researching and gaining a solid understanding of what you need to know. I think now it’s just a matter of taking action. Real estate is best learned through experience. Best of luck, hope to hear more of your stories!

@Haley Powell I would suggest going with a broker as @Yonah Weiss mentioned they offer a broad range of products rather than a mortgage lender that is tied to their banks products. I would run through 2-3 different lenders, and suggest applying to all within a 2 week timeframe as they will run a hard inquiry on your credit to apply for the loan. If you apply within a 2-3 week timeframe it only counts as 1 hit towards your credit score. Best of luck!

@Mani Poudel this was kind of my scenario a few years ago. I started house hacking and every year since then have bought a property. The best way to learn real estate is to experience real estate. I have learned so much in term of fixing things up, and how be more handy than the average person/woman. You will set yourself up to learn an abundance of knowledge!

I will be very interested to hear what everyone has to say. I am currently practicing as an agent but have my FT corporate job. Lets just say I understand why people quit easily. I, however will not - its hard but I love everything about real estate. It definitely takes time to build a client base though. Hoping my prospecting pays off in the next year.

Hi @Stephen Munford

Welcome to BP! Sounds like you have touched many aspects of real estate and getting into building your portfolio may be a smooth ride based on your background and knowledge. I would ask to meet with you if I lived in Vegas! Best of luck, Vegas is having a great market based on what I have read. Goodluck on the the property you just found. Hope to hear more about it in BP :)

Hi @Account Closed, there is a great meetup in Naperville if you are looking to network. They are called the Kwak Brothers - you can find them in the meetup app and have provided me invaluable information!

@Jared Mann I would show them evidence for the issue and the cost of replacement. I would let them know that if it happens again, they will have to pay and you will use their security deposit. This might provide some incentive to not do it again! :)
