Post: MF syndication curriculum

I believe I am 5-7 years out from syndicating a MF deal, and want to prepare as I flip houses and buy smaller MF property.  Outside of "coaching" programs are there any professional development courses taught with accredited/experienced investors?  Or are coaching programs the best way to learn in advance and along the way?  Also hoping to find coursework that goes toward my CE credits with my RE license.  Thanks!

After 1 year of looking (on the side) for SF property to flip, having looked at hundreds online, underwriting 30-40, inspecting 15-20, making 8 offers and going under contract on 5, I finally landed ONE... My first flip! Just wanted to say thanks for the BP community for all the shared knowledge! Here are some pics.  Also got my real estate license along the way!  For anyone who is struggling to find something, all I can say is: network, network, network, and never give up!

Thank you Sherman and Kevin, I will look into those things.  I'm not under contract yet, but if it does work I'll definitely check into these options.

Thanks!

I'm looking for MF broker in the GA market, with properties in the 8-10% cap rate.  20+ units.  In growing/stable market with value add opportunities.

Please send me a note!

Hey @Chris E. I just noticed you are following me!  Not sure why but in any case I also noticed your deal here.  Did you acquire this land and start the project?

Best!

Passion and hope. Share your passion and hope for the best! Go to your local REIA. Email people directly (on their personal/company email or BP) and share quick bit on yourself and why you'd like to meet. I heard a much wiser person tell me to go help others and then when the time is right people will also help you. I'm nobody in terms of "success" in real estate, but I've talked with several very successful people over coffee or the phone through simple introductions. But it takes a lot of persistence. Some people don't care. Eventually you will find some who do. I'm a builder/Project Manager- if you ever need help with those categories or SF rentals send me a note. I'm looking for deals to flip and aiming for 1500 MF units in the next 5-10 years- so I can share what I'm learning there but little on the doing side. -Best!
