Quote from @Kar Sun:
I cannot believe there is anybody who is interested in a bitcoin. I can see how some can get interested for short term speculation. But I will absolute not value any virtual assets, decentralized or not. Next thing for the Bitcoin fans will be metaverse "real estate" that is anything but real. Bitcoin is nothing but a pre-condition to a central bank digital currency. Let's say it is a psychological and behavioral training to get used to virtual "ASSets".
But there are. Not only people, but billionaires, hedge funds, large corporations, insurance companies, University endowments, local and national governments, banks, and pensions.
I don't believe it's wise to assume that every bitcoin holder invest in or cares about the metavers. I don't care, I don't have to. I have no idea what's going to happen, but it will probably continue to grow. Gamers have lived in a metaverse for decades. Which has also grown. The gaming industry is massive and I believe the metaverse will be a simple transition. Everyone on Facebook lives in a metaverse.
What are your thoughts on the trillions of fake dollars that have been printed over the last couple of years? What are your thoughts on real estate values rising 20% plus over the last few years? How about companies that are trading at a 1000 times per earnings?
National and multinational brands have have patents and own space in the metaverse, do you believe they did their research?
I like well thought out and well researched opposing views. I often find that, when talking about future possibilities, and the mechanics of behavior and the economy, often end with with an open ended conversation. Meaning no one "wins". However, I will always point to the fact that civilization has always sought out sound money and the way current adoption is going.
Your comment however appears to be something I've been going on for the last few years on this platform. It's emotional and not well researched and not well-thought-out.
Why don't you answer even one of my questions with a well-thought-out answer?
I believe humans will be having this debate in however many years when land on another planet is for sale. There will be other people talking about why it will never happen and why it can't work, even while it is happening
