Either you get it, or you don't. Part of it is generational, part of it is character traits, and part is understanding things like tech adoption & the network effect.  If people want money that does not enable nation states to enslave others or create wars then there's Bitcoin.

I believe the separation of money from State is a good thing. Others though,  enjoy the vicarious application of misery through State violence.  I no longer evangelize about Bitcoin, because I don't think there's much point in doing so.  Why? Do Most people care about Bitcoin? No. Do most people care about Julian Assange? No. For similar reasons.
Agreed. I don't evangelize, I just leave facts for anyone considering buying.
I also enjoy the occasional debate. It's a good exercise

How do you make a small fortune from investing in Bitcoin?

Start off by investing a large fortune in Bitcoin.

No, you buy, hold, and wait.

A crypto exchange going bankrupt?  Who would ever see that coming?

Coinbase admits users may lose crypto if exchange goes bankrupt | Fortune

Internet companies went bankrupt in the beginning, so do you believe the Internet was a bad idea?

Good point. Those Internet companies were killed by better ideas.  As will happen to Bitcoin.

You should also know that bitcoin was not the first. It was just the first one to work. And it's been copied 20,000 times, and it's still the at the top. You've been wrong, a lot.

Here are the bitcoin 2012 to 2018 yearly lows

2012 $4

2013 $65

2014 $200

2015 $186

2016 $365

2017 $780

2018 $3200

You can fill in the blanks. Like I said, we have been here before

No one can tell the future, though you seem to pretend to. Right now, when volume rises, the price is going up. Good signs.

And I don't care about the other garbage. So what.

Did you notice?

Facebook (META) fell 33% in February… a loss of about $330 billion…
Apple (AAPL) is down 22% since January… a loss of $612 billion…
Netflix (NFLX) sunk 53% in April… a $92 billion loss…
And April marked the worst monthly returns for Amazon (AMZN) and Alphabet (GOOGL) since 2008… both falling 24% and 18%, respectively.

Which Internet companies were killed by better ideas?
Wasn't it you that said before that you like block chain but not bitcoin? Your recent comments prove once again you're a total lack of understanding. It bitcoin IS block chain innovation.  So what's the better idea than a decentralized, enterprise, uncorruptible and secure and secure monetary network? With limited supply?
This thread is only a few years old, you seem to love chiming in during volatile events, that have been going on far before you came into the picture. As if it's news.  And now you are doing so while also ignoring the fact that the biggest companies in the world are also getting kicked in the teeth right now. Some biggest buy market cap, some big by name name - household brands. Let me post a few charts for you to put things into perspective.
