Post: Gwinnett County GA Court House Lists...Can I Get Them For Free?

I went to the Gwinnett County courthouse today and tried to get some help getting some lists. They don't provide much of anything. I wanted a list of home sales over the past couple of years and an NOD list. They said their system isn't organized to produce lists. I'd have to know the homeowner's name and look them up to find out particular information on that specific property.
What are others in the area doing to get these lists for free? Is it possible? I'm happy to pay for lists, but if I can get them for free, I'd rather do that. Do any other counties in the greater Atlanta area offer lists?

Welcome to BP & NE Florida @Emily Raber! Attend the local REIA meetings and you'll meet a lot of fellow wholesalers and RE industry people in general. Connect with people on BP as well and you'll do great. Everyone is friendly and happy to help. Good luck!

Congrats @Don DeMarco. I remember my 1st pool of notes. It's super exciting and nerve wrecking at the same time. When you get that first check is the best feeling in the world! Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the input everyone! @Bob Malecki, what you advised is what I'm going to do, in all likelihood a JV this time around. I definitely got more interest when looking for note investors to partner with than, friends, family & other REI's.
@Anthony Dadlani I'm close to confirming a jv with someone, but in case we don't finalize things, I'll send you an email with more details.

I'm working on a deal to purchase a pool of np 2nd notes and would like to use a private money lender or a jv. This is my first time trying to raise money to fund a deal so the process is both exciting & a bit nervous. Up to this point I've been using my sdira funds to purchase npns. I need $100k to close on the deal this week, but the process isn't going as smoothly as I anticipated. I've noticed that with just about everyone I've approached, both individuals & companies, they're so unfamiliar with notes that they're simply not interested. They're intrigued, but find it too risky and...well they'd rather pass. If I were doing a fix & flip or wholesaling a deal, they'd jump all over it.
Can anyone offer advice? Are there any companies that would lend on a note deal? I know that hard money lenders typically won't. How do you raise private money? Is there a quick nuts & bolts education/explanation that I could give them in about 2 minutes that any of you use?
