Can someone shed some light on delinquent taxes & non performing notes. I don't think it makes a difference if it's a senior or junior lien, but if it does, please clarify. So my question is if taxes are owed on the property & you purchase the note, how does that impact the note?

Hi all, my name is Erica & I live in the outskirts of Atlanta, GA. I have very little real estate experience, but it's been an interest of mine for a number of years. I've done a lot of research on different types of investing, and am now interesting in taking it more seriously. In particular I'm interested in investing in non-performing second notes.

I've been lurking on bigger pockets for a few weeks now & have listened to a number of podcasts & read a bunch of blogs and decided it's time to get active. There's a plethora of information offered! I'm looking forward to a successful rei start and developing some industry relationships.
