Its the same concept as asking a question. Persoson #1 asks person #2 a question. Person #2 says, "I dont know the answer, but I might know someone who does." Person #2 asks person #3 the question. Person #3 gives the answer to Person #2. Person #2 gives the answer back to Person #1 who originally asked the question and said, "My friend said xyz and this is how it works." Person #2 doesn't say who. It's called open communication and sharing of knowledge.

It's also called networking. And yes we are in sales. We're providing products and services for a profit. That's sales and networking 101..... Referrals and networking are the life's blood of the Real Estate industry.

Good luck Steve!

 Steve,

That's not nor will it ever be my intentions what so ever. I'm new here and would hate to burn bridges and come off as a bait and switch, used car sales man, deal scraper, pick pocket, or take food off your table to provide for your family

If you know someone who knows the answer to a question, go ask them, don't reveal your source of the information if you feel it would hurt your market share up in Washington, and relay the message....

Spread the wealth of knowledge is all I'm asking for. We all started from scratch in REI, why not start learning from the best on BP ☺

 Dave,

I couldn't have said it any better 👏👏👏

Relationships and referrals are the life's blood of the RE industry. People buy you before they purchase/ sell a home because they're trusting you with the biggest transaction of their life.

Which brings me back to my original question about this topic... Who are your "GO TO" people?

Imho we (meaning me, as a beginner & a newbie) must first better understand this business and better educate ourselves so that we can better serve others.

But one thing is for sure you, can have all the knowledge in the world, but knowledge without action is useless that's why I need to better educate myself and then start making rough draft moves and learn from my mistakes so that I can adapt and evolve. Who better to learn from than what BP has to offer 😊

Plus you learn more that way and aren't contacting someone via PM with basic "teach me about 1031 exchanges" and they are going to tell you to go search the forum.

my 2 cents

 Hi Mike,

Thank you for your prompt response!

To answer your question, the reason I posted this topic is to see who their list of go to top BP members are so that I and many other beginners with in the community can get better acquainted and gain invaluable knowledge on being a Real Estate Entrepreneur. We're all here to learn and want to learn from the best! In return for the priceless knowledge, we can make the community bigger, better, & stronger!

For example.... I'm with an 18yr old company that's partnerd with Google that is the largest IDX vendor in the country who specializes in Internet Marketing and Consulting for Real Estate agents and brokers to help improve their online presence that has a lot of clients on the first page of Google in their target markets when doing "homes for sale" searches online.

I'm still new to BP and I'm downloading all this great and free information from everyone.

Why i m asking is who's your, "GO TO", person when you ask for particular questions about REI.... For exampl, i go to Bob for 1031 exchanges. For commercial I go to Savannah (because you trust and value their opinion & experience)

So.....

Who are your " GO TO BP PEOPLE"

We've funded double closing in CA many times.  They are definitely a viable way to wholesale so it's worth your consideration.  We have escrow agents with whom we've worked previously that we can put you in touch with so you can consult with them.  Feel free to lookup my profile and email or call.

Good luck,

Duane

 Duane,

I would greatly appreciate that! Please send me a message for the details. Thanks again!

where do I find on that is still up to California State code?

Would it be better to do virtual wholesaling in a different state due to the laws here in CA with assignment contracts?
