Is this type of deal common or is it even done by sellers ?
What interest rates are sellers charging nowadays ?

Matt Devincenzo Acts 4:32 :)

Ryan Logsdon That was something new to me and when the lender asked me to give them 100 % access to my funds, the separation anxiety kicked in because I got a strong emotional attachment to my money and I thought the lender was trying to come between us. LOL
Is a good thing that we have the BP nation members always ready to help with info that will make our investing a little easier.

Russell Monson That's good information. Thank You for your input. I really appreciate it.

Jon Holdman You are right on the money. I spoke again with the loan officer and she said that form is only used for joint accounts and I can submit a statement from another account If I don't want to sign the " Access to funds" form.
Thank you for using your vast knowledge to help newbies like me. I tell ya.... those big time Real Estate "gurus " out there got nothing on you and Bill Gulley :)

Bill Gulley Thanks for your help. Here is the link to their site.

A mortgage Co I'm dealing with asked me to sign the above mentioned form. That's new to me. It says " This letter is to certify that ............ has 100% access to our joint account #.... " In the past I have provided the usual bank statements but I don't remember being asked to give access to my funds. I would like your input on this. Is this something new and legit or is this " Peoples Mortgage Company trying to take me to the cleaners ? ( Closing day is next Thursday so I'm in a hurry to send all docs needed ) Thanks in advance for your help.
