I would keep the money here. Palo Alto may not buy you much with $400k, but there are other U.S. markets where it definitely will. Good luck.

How about $700k towards an out of state 6% to 8% cap rate and then $300k towards an upscale home in Morgan Hill (or even Sacramento)?

Great questions Steven. I have read about a few real estate deals that used Bitcoin. I feel this could be another alternative for financing and acquisitions.

Hi BP,

I wanted to re-vitalize this thread for 2016. We are at a point in the current cycle where in some scenarios it makes more sense to build rather than buy. These are the scenarios I would like to introduce to contractors and developers who are interested in Silicon Valley real estate. Some of the opportunities include:

- 6 SFR development lot

- 15 SFR development lot

- 45 SFR development lot

- 16 unit MFU development lot

- 100+ unit MFU and Mixed-Use development lot

There are more opportunities in the Bay Area available and please feel free to reach out for more information. Please no wholesalers, but I am willing to cooperate with lenders and out of state licensed brokers to put a deal together.

Awesome advice Kathy and welcome Darius.
