At the beginning of each forum there are announcements which state the rules for posting to that specific forum. It's best to read those announcements before trying to post. Some forums require that you have a minimun number of overall posts before you can post in them.

Hi Carole,

I met them at a convention in Vegas some months back. We hung out together a lot there and became friends and have worked on some deals together as well.

Happy Holidays to you too.

Dan,

It's always more fun when you have what the investors want. lol
I guess we all wish we knew more when we first started, but the most important thing is that we do start and with time we find our niche.

Dan,

Sounds like you have an excellent system in place. You know you're doing a top notch job when the asset managers are calling you directly.

Good for you Greg. It's one thing to have knowledge and yet another to apply that knowledge. Making the first step is always scary and maybe the toughest part of the process. As with anything, the more we do, the more comfortable we become. What first seems scary can quickly become exciting and rewarding. Keep up the good work.

Welcome to BP.

That's great that you're making the move to achieve those goals you set for yourself. Feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like. You will find a lot of experienced real estate investors here and the information you will learn will get you that first deal.

Welcome Dan.

I was wondering what discount percentage The Laker Group looks for when deciding to take on a wholesale deal.

Welcome to the group.

It's ok to have jitters as real estate is new to you, but you're in a great forum where you can learn a lot from experienced real estate investors. Give yourself some time to read the forums and don't be afraid to ask questions of the other members. You'll have your first deal before you know it.
