Can you guys offer me some advice. I’m looking to get an apartment really soon but if I do so now I would have to use some of my saving tobuy a home in order to pay deposit for renting. Should I use the money from my investment account or wait til I save the rest of the money for down payment which may take 2 months?

I’m looking to buy rental property in 2019

I got approved for an apartment, but they want a deposit before I’m able to view the lease? Should I decline or move forward.

I plan on applying for a FHA loan in March ,2018 which will make 2 years verified w2 income working full time, i have over a 700 credit score and an income of about 1,700 a month no debt(i also plan to get another part-time job to help increase my monthly income). Any advice for applying and my chances of getting approved? In search of a duplex property as my first rental property; Emergency funds will be set aside as well (6 months rent).

My motivation for getting my real estate license would be to network with others in the real estate industry. As someone who doesn't have any connections in real estate I would like to began to build my network and also profit at the same time while learning as much as I possible can in the process . I would do real estate on a part time basis while I earn enough capital to buy my first rental property from commissions as well as w2 income. I also had a broker who I wanted to intern for tell me that without a RE license the things I would be able to do would be limited. I need to get my foot in the door but the overall goal is to become a long term investor with buy and hold properties , and a RE license could potentially help with finding them which could lead to future gains. With further review I did sign an automatic renewal agreement but thank you very much for the advice I'll have to pay the $1,200 to leave.
