The RTA quality is far better and worth the extra effort.

The material you use with depend on the pitch of the roof. Also your local building department might have something to say about the matter. It wouldn't hurt to get some quotes first from reliable roofing contractors. They would know the building codes and the proper application of materials.

A friend has recently brought to my attention epoxy countertops. I watched several YouTube videos on the subject and was amazed at the finished product. Anyone out there have any experience with this product. How well do they hold up with tenants? What is the cost?

RTA companies sell finished end panels and tie kicks. In your case where it appears the structure to apply the toe kick is missing, adding 1x4 or 2x4 to the cabinet structure would be advisable.

I have rented three times to Catholic Charities tenants. They sign a one year lease and you get paid on time. After the year is up supposedly they will be self sufficient. ( They are given furniture, housewares, etc. Everything to help them succeed) I have evicted all three. Once the year was up, not one penny ever came out of their pocket . Not to mention they left all the free goodies behind. Fool me three times, shame on you.

I bought cabinets from them in Munster, Indiana. They buy "close outs" from other dealers, but they don't tell you until they have your money. They sent me cabinets that were in different boxes, different construction, door sizes were off a half an inch, a pinstripe was a different color, they couldn't fulfill the order with the cabinets I ordered so they gave me different cabinets and said that they would work? Con artists .

To all of the above: what kind of notice would you give her? The rent is paid. On February 1st if she doesn't have the rent you can give a five day to protect yourself in case she doesn't move out.

I am doing a rehab and I am considering a spiral staircase. From where is the best place to purchase? Has anyone run into any code restrictions? What else should I be aware of?

The ach service that I was using for rent payments has been absorbed by another company. Upon review of the new service, I decided to look elsewhere. I looked at Cozy but there ach payments take 5 business days to process unless you pay a fee for express service. I was getting 2-3 day service for free. Who are you using for this service?
