Hey there! I'm out of Waterford with Carrington Real Estate and we do a ton of business in the area. If you're interested, I'd love to chat about the market around the area and talk about your goals. We also have a mortgage arm to our business so that is something else we could brainstorm over.

Let me know, cheers!

I disagree that with Pontiac being anything like RO or Ferndale anytime soon. There's good value in homes around the edges of the city limits but other than that it doesn't have a whole lot going. This is coming from someone who drives through the city every day. Hoping it'll keep coming up but damn if it's going to take a decade or so more

@David Hunter @Kenneth Reimer awesome help, thank you fellas. I think I'll be doing my printing at office max or another big box store, the office makes you pay for color after a certain point.

Also a huge Gary V so I'll have to look into his real estate stuff a little deeper rather than passively. 👌🏼

Hey all, I'm finally set up with a broker as a new agent and ready to get going. One of the things I'd like to do is set up a direct mail campaign to get my name out within my neighborhood. There are about 1600 houses I want to target in a personal way (howdy neighbor! type of marketing). What service do you guys use? Cost? Any help would be appreciated! I'm out and about in the neighborhood quite a bit but have as a 25 year old, my circle of influence is still getting ramped up. Cheers

Edit- Now I see there's no money. I say full steam ahead and at the least, it'll be the experience of it all!

It doesn't sound too bad, I'd be more concerned with the length of time my money is tied up for and opportunity cost. I hope it works out well, Mount P has a lot of value !

Hey @Joe D.! I'm also getting active on here so cheers to that, hopefully you're still active on here! I'm a newer agent in a Oakland county with a broker that is HEAVYILY involved with bank owned SFH throughout the area. Let me know if you're interested in ever meeting up, maybe we can bounce some ideas off eachother?

Cheers and good luck sir!

Tommy Fountain Hey there, I'm a new agent in the Detroit area and looking to build up a clientele of investors for the future. My brokerage is HEAVY into bank owned properties so I think we've got plenty we could chat about. Let me know if you want to discuss things a little further, I'm interested in hearing about your plans. Cheers! Dom

Come on out to Detroit before you do anything. I hear it's like the Wild West for real estate. We don't bite....too hard!
