Hi everybody,

I’m a newbie investor mostly interested in the MA market. But am also drawn to the markets of CT, RI, NH, and SC (Mostly MA, and CT). My goal is to purchase a multi family property with great cash flow and appreciation potential. I prefer a proper that could use some fixing up but not enough to undermine a newbies (such as my self) investment.

I have very big goal and very big dreams. If anyone in any of these markets has suggestions on what zip codes I can continue my search please let me know. Trying my best to dive into the forum once a day so I may learn something new.

https://on.mktw.net/39GiJIZ Check out this article from MarketWatch - These mortgage borrowers will be ‘the first canary in the coal mine’ for a coronavirus-fueled foreclosure crisis, regulator says

It seems to me that Corona May impact the real estate market severely depending on if the virus can be slowed down by the heat. If not, it can mean scary things (or opportunities) for investors

@Nana Appaw I completely agree. Currently on a wave to try and find a multi family property in that city. Think it has much appreciation value

Hey Patrick, I too am new to this whole investing thing. Currently reading brandon truners real estate book on investing. If you ever find new information on the best places in MA, I'd be happy to hear it. I'm looking for multifamily as well. I find Worcester to be an interesting spot. Have you found out anything interesting on the MA market?

Misc, I was thinking garbage, and snow plows since were out in new england. What would *% of vacancy mean? Could you elaborate?

I am a future real estate investor and have been preparing for my first house. I am currently reading "the book on rental real estate investing" and just read chapter 3 on strategies to being investing. I personally am interested in the multifamily strategy, where I can rent out the whole apartment without the house hacking step. Problem is I want to be able to make a down payment with little to no money, the book I'm reading suggests I go back and read the previous book. But wanted to see if anyone here had any suggestions on buying my first house with little money.

A lot of first time home buying programs want you to live in the apartment for a year. I'm trying to avoid that.

Any suggestions?
