@Don Konipol Hi Don,

I hear you, and starting a wholesale buisness is something that I'm completely open to doing. More specifically, I mean that I would like to begin expanding my portfolio in various ways. Even if it means buying homes from wholesalers who are actively searching for deals, while also doing some wholesale deals of my own on the side. Sorry if this post is confusing but your advice is well taken.

Would you mind expanding on syndicate technique?

@Evan Polaski I appreciate your comment as well. I will certainly focus on that. However, I want to continue to be motivated and hungry by purchasing real estate along the way. I am excited to begin the search for how I'm going to pull in more cashflow. If you have any innovative ideas or techniques I would love to hear them.

Hi my name is Deion Moore,

A new investor out of New England looking to build a diverse real estate investment portfolio. My goal is to buy and hold rental properties that need small fixes. I also am beggining to expand my portfolio and begin new investment techniques. Currently, I am learning how to wholesale and BRRR.

I am re-intorducing myself becuase I have already been through this proccess before. In 2020 I went hard; I quit my job, went back to get my Master's and educated myself HEAVILY on how to buy my first property (Thank you Brandon Turner, Ashley Kehr, Felipe Mejiarei, and Tony Robinson). It was all successful. I bought a 2 family, I graduated (boosted my income significantly) and now I am on the education prowl again.

I am now looking to get my very first deal. By first deal, I mean wholesale deal. I want to grow in creative real estate investing techniques. I am looking everywhere for wholesalers to connect with. I want to find deals, and education myself on my first flip. If anyone out there would like to connect and maybe share some stories, network, BRING DEALS?? Please do, I am a sponge right now. Please reach out with any advice, and best educational recources.

I am excited and blessed to to be in a position where I can learn..

Looking for foundation contractors in the CT area. Preferably someone with more than a few years of experience. Currently in the motion of buying my first house and have some concerns. If anyone has any referrals please let me know them. East Hartford area helps.

Hey @ALYSSA Feliciano I too am a newbie investor out of Boston considering the same thing. With the same kind of money and a fair credit score.

I recently just thought of long distance deals. I see you are a pro member, recently BP has been posting about market “insights” they have been super valuable in helping me decide a market. You should check them out!

@Raisa Penney Hi! I’m a young newbie investor with interest all over MA. I know the Boston area well but am also familiar with other parts. I know your interest lies within north mass, however maybe you can begin to take a look into the Worcester area. The area has been and continues to grow, prices are a bit higher than what they used to be but there are still deals that I myself have been on the search for

@Will Fraser Yeah, I figured as such. If I went this route I would probably have to have some experience in negotation and due diligence. I actually got the idea of shopping on Craigslist from multiple BP podcast. I just wasn’t too sure what “contract for sale” really signified. Thanks for your response.

So I recently began searching for properties for buying in a seller financing opportunity. The current strategy I’m using is setting keyword alerts on Craigslist to gain potential leads (if anyone has any key word suggestions btw I’d love to hear them). I amanfirst time homebuyer and am still trying to educate myself. I’ve had some trouble gaining funding from mortgage lenders during this pandemic which is why I’m turning towards seller financing.

Anyways I’ve been seeing a ton of “contracts for sale” properties popping up on CL. I’m not sure if these are wholesalers looking for their brake or what? Is this something I should run away from or is this a a normal potential buy that investors take.

Please let me know your opinions. Thanks,

Deion

@James McCard hey James. At the moment, my goal is to do strictly investing and not have to house hack. However am open to living in the house I buy if it means I have too for over down payments. I appreciate being able to communicate with investors in that community. If you’re open to sharing some advice, I would love to hear about it in my direct messaging.
