I have several properties on my radar. I am new to investing and looking for a seasoned wholesaler to work with on these deals. In return split the profits. I am currently living in one of the country's fastest growing counties, Baldwin County, AL.  There are renters lined up on waiting list just waiting for housing. That's money waiting for your pockets. Is there anyone willing to help me help you?

Welcome Frankie,

I know exactly what you are feeling. Our stories are a lot alike. I just joined BP a few days ago and for the first time in a couple of years of learning about investing, I feel as though I have made a good decision in joining this site.

I'm trying to get started as well. Fear has been biggest obstacle but not anymore. I have not yet to close my first deal but I'm bound and determined to do so before the new year. I always have a list of houses that are possibilities. Finding properties has never been my problem, it's finding the investor. I would love to stay in touch with you. Maybe we can help each other even though we do not live in the same area.

I have seen so many investors buy and hold on the lower priced houses and make more in the long run.

i would certainly love an update! Do you still have the property? What happened if anything?

So basically, the owner signs a redemption of rights waiver? And my understanding of that is that they (the owner) is stating that they will not in any form or fashion try to redeem the property and the waiver is viable in any court? Am I on the right track?

Welcome! I too am a new wholesaler/bird dogger! I'm pretty sure from what I have read, we will find exactly what we need from BP. Good luck to you!

Hello @Joseph Reeves, I too am getting my feet wet in investing with wholesaling. I have not closed my first deal. Have you had any luck? Closed a deal yet?

I say absolutely Yes! Dave Ramsey has written a series on finances, chores, budgeting, spending and saving for younger and older students. I recommend it for any parent. Regardless of what your child decides to do as an adult, they will always have to deal with money. Better for them to do it with as much knowledge as possible.

@Damion Hopkinson , I'm curious...4 years after your original post, where are you now in real estate investing? I'm a newbie and would love to hear a great story!

Hello Jacqueline, Great to meet you. I live in Loxley and grew up in the Mobile area. I still have lots of family there. I know the rental market is very good there. I have several family members that buy and hold and flip and all do very very well. Location, location, location is key. If you need help finding good neighborhoods, just let me know. I know that anything west of University especially past Schillengers road is growing like crazy. Don't forget about section 8, they pay like clock work every week. Hope this helps.
