Actually,it's just one owner who would like to get a LOC which would be secured by the land.Secondly, how would the owner go about obtaining a LOC without the land as security.Wouldn't most lenders be more secure in extending the LOC since its secured by the property.

Congrats on 7 years!!!! As I get more experience I would like to share with others through a blog. Joshua, I commend you for founding the blog and BP.The connections that I've made have been invaluable to my growth.

My goal was to have a success story to tell in Denver.I am holding out that I will have something positive to tell one and all about my first deal.If not then it'll happen after I get back which would still make me complete my goal in the 1st Q. Other than that just looking forward to meeting people and absorbing all of the knowledge that I can.

Many on BP will tell you to get started first, then worry about structure of your business. (ie; LLC,sole prop etc.) I have proceeded that way and haven't closed my first deal yet!!!!
However,as @NickJ said check with your state corporation commission.Good luck and happy investing!!!!

Rich

Overall from the info that I've gathered the market is about at the bottom. And the potential deals are drying up.Most of the investors are in buy and hold status now.Waiting for appreciation in about 3-5 years.Would love to sit with you guys and pick your brains on the 10th if at all possible. If not could we meet at the summitt.I plan to take in your session. Look forward to hearing from all in this thread.

Thank you!!!! I'm heading to Denver!!!! I'm looking forward to making contact with those who are experienced in REI. @ chrisclothier I can't begin to express what your kindness has done for me. A simple "Thank You" seems not quite enough.Yet,it gives me the encouragement to help others as you have helped those that were on the fence about furthering their knowledge of REI.I,too will pay it forward as I continue my growth.

Thanks Again
