@Kris Bennett... Thank you for your wisdom.  I have decided to not spend $20,000 to get education from Renatus.  The money will be better spent on buying a property.  You all are correct.

Invest in a REIT! I hadn't thought of that as my strategy at this point, but if I have 20,000 to invest - I guess I could do that as well. Great interjection!

@Ryan E.  I’m beginning to agree with you all on the idea that $20,000 can be better spent on an actual investment than anywhere else.

@Luke Ski  ... because you don’t know anything about me or my background, I’m going to nicely say I’ve never had to claim to be anything im not for money.  Your two cents were... unwarranted.  Next time, I ask that you attempt to add value to my request for understanding.  If you cannot.  Please don’t respond.  You waste everyone’s time reading your cents.

@Account Closed was simply saying that though he has 200+ units, those units are not paying for his lifestyle.  If he’s got multiple businesses and they bring in more than the property brings in, he may not want to lower his standard of living by letting go of his main source of income.  I get that.  To some, $120,000 per year is a lot, to others it’s their baseline monthly living expenses.

@Brent Coombs  I guess I've heard both.  I've gotten education from the group meetings that I've attended, but it's always cursory information because I haven't bought the package yet.  I've also been invited to attend an all day training on a specific subject.  I guess I wanted to hear from someone in BP that has had success using their systems.  I wanted to do that because I recognize that all things that glitter are not gold.

@James Wise  I may not have said it, but thank you for your input.  I appreciate your view.

@RJ Gustilo you are correct.  The BASE package for the program is $2,000.  It includes only about 10 of the 50+ courses and little to no mentorship, although you can mingle with other community members while you dive into the education.  When you get ready to move into actual investing and want more classes, you'll be asked to pay the balance of $18,000.  THEN you'll get lifetime membership and have access to mentorship and the rest of the things the company has to offer it's $20,000 lifetime members.  There is also an option for a $7,999 package if you want to only go into one form of real estate (i.e, you only want to be a flipper - or only want to do a specific sector in commercial).  Either way, whenever you're ready to move into more education, you'll be required to pay the balance of the $20,000 investment.

Don't get that twisted.  To take advantage of the full benefits of Renautus, it's going to cost you $20,000.  That can be $20,000 up front, or after you've bought the $2,000 basic education or the $7,999 mid level education.

You all have such great wisdom.  I’m glad I asked this question.  I am, and have always been very interested in real estate investing.  That desire has been with me for many years.  I guess I see Renatus as a vehicle for me to learn in and grow from while I do deals.  They talk about the community and collaboration to get deals done.  That’s why I’m considering them.  I’m looking at every possible way to get the education I need to do my first deal.  Then my next few deals.

Thank you all for your sage advice!  I truly appreciate what you’ve shared.

Thank you @Maurice Witten! I appreciate your wisdom.  I want to be an investor, not a MLM Member who happens to invest.  I’m already a sales person as a Realtor.
