Hi. I have an unfinished basement approximately 1000 sq ft. Looking for a reliable, trustworthy, cost effective contractor to put up framing, insulation, and dry wall throughout. Add a half bath, put down flooring, and electrical and plumbing needed as well. That's the major scope of the project with a few other smaller details.

If you have not done so already, I would consult with an attorney on whether or not it's worth going after the tenant. Sometimes, your better off just cutting your loses. I'm going through a similar situation right now where we evicted a tenant and she called the Department of Buildings on us and we received a number of violations from the city that we are trying to fix right now.

Thanks Manolo. Went to Menards to get buckets of coating and decided to do it myself as the parking lot is actually not in need of any removal of the existing pavement.

Hello BP, looking for referrals as I need to find someone who can do asphalt paving and parking stripes for a small parking lot area that contains 5 parking lanes at a multi unit building in Northwest Chicago. Looking for someone who does good quality work at a very reasonable price. Thanks!

I just rented out an apartment with a non-refundable move-in fee of $450 on the northwest side of Chicago. This is the first time I collected a move-in fee, as I have always collected security deposits in the past. Never had any issues with security deposits, but decided to go the route with move-in fees going forward. Will see how this works out for me going forward!

Honestly, it's been awhile since I can remember off the top of my head the time frame and cost. My wife and I used them on two separate occasions and were pleased with their service as they walk  you through exactly the process.

I owned and rented a condo in Jefferson Park right across the blue line/metra station for many years. Never had any issues finding good quality tenants as the location was ideal for commuters.
