just start calling all the credit unions and talk to their lenders and see what they offer.

I have house hacked but not by living in a trailer. just lived in one of the rooms. the great way about that is that you get that one bedroom you would be living in rented out for extra cash flow. I would just watch out for whatever home you are looking to get that if it has a HOA find out if there okay with Trailers being parked in the front of the house. Preferably just find a house without a HOA.

that might be hard to find. good luck!

yea once you have a pre-qualification just start looking around. The lender based it off of what you can afford and the price on the house you are wanting. Does not mean you have to buy that home.  jsut look for homes at that price or less. I would not buy that property until you have analyzed a lot of homes. Make sure what your buying is a good investment.

I own one home in Austin and looking to get my second there soon.I am definitely not a guru but learning as i go. Use BP to connect to others in Austin. lots of realtors/whole sellers/lenders on here from austin. I just connected with a couple of whole sellers and looking to connect with more.

well you looking at a lot of money to fix that issue. If you still got time to get out it might be a good idea to get out and lose some money before you close. If its past that i have no idea what you could do. is this house a forclosure or off the MLS? if forclosure you just guna have to pay others to do it or get dirty and do it yourself, but hopefully there was enough meat on the bone to handle that 20k.

If you are renting it out and it's a low priority you can probably get away with holding off on doing it until you want to spend the money to do it. You could just buy yourself some paint and get it done yourself.

Times are tough it's hard for the people out there to pay rent I guess. One reason I'm glad I did not invest there. But if they are not allowing landlords to evect tenants they should also give landlords relief (mortgage forbearance) if they can pay the mortgage due to not being able to evict tenants.

@Wilfred Mkilindi

Yeah times are hard right now just keep doing everything you already do and then some! Wish you the best!

@Dustin Dumbravo that's awesome! You dont have to have a LLC you can just get started on the financial part of it. Get a loan pre approval and then talk to a real estate agent.
