Some inner cities and rural area's have cheep housing. I have bought several houses for 25K in eastern Ky. Or you can always get into the property tax services. 16% interest and fee's here in Ky. However its a lot to keep up with and then you have to foreclose on the property if they never pay you their tax bill. But many companies make a killing on it.

Your millage may very.  He is a sales person First. He is all about his image. Nothing wrong with that in fact a lot but not a majority voted a sales person in as POTUS. Take what you want out of his spew and throw the rest away. I like to own my home but I don't believe others should always own in this area because jobs change, life changes. Who wants to be tied down with a house that may or may not sell when you need it to. Again I don't take my own advise.   I enjoyed his talk but I don't want to live like him either.

In reality I low ball when I can what can it hurt. I understand the realtor not wanting to waste their time but at the same time if they get 3-4% of the sale then they get repeat business they should take your offers and run with it. That's what they are getting paid to do.  My last deal I went to the listing agent because I was not happy with my pervious agent. That went well they still got a 30k check and I got a deal 5000$ lower because the agent took it out of their share. May not always work out but Its my money I'll low ball if I want to. The worst they can say is NO!

My very first SFH I bought at an absolute auction in 2010. I went cause I never seen a house auction and figured I would watch. The House was a 2 bed 2 bath 1100 sq ft. I knew from my appraiser friends that I done computer work for that it would be at least 45000 value, and I figured I could rent it for 550. I purchased it for 34500. I rent it for 600 and only but about 2000 in windows in it. So it does very well. But what I found out after having it survived is the land stops about 3 feet from the side of it so the driveway and the air conditioner are not even on my property most of the septic are not on it either. My question has anyone ever dealt with owners that block a driveway or other part of a property before and how bad does it get. I know the people that owned the property behind and next are the ones that sold it to the lady the lost it at auction so I don’t think they will come after it but I’m not sure either.

I consider myself a newbie when it comes to real estate however I just closed a couple months ago a 12 unit deal with no money down.  Cap is 8.6% I did have equity in two single family homes that I used but those homes I bought at auction for less then 55k all together back in 2011. I have both of those homes rented and they have paid for themselves 2X now.   This was my 7th deal and 2nd multi family unit deal.  I know I still have a lot to learn but with 22 units I think I'm on my way.  These units are all in south eastern Kentucky.

Has anyone had any experience on buying property that was seized because funds from drug sales was used to purchase? I am wondering how long after the sentence was haded down on the owner before it went to sale and where they typically sell the property. This man and his wife was sentenced back in June the house is abandoned but when I called the DEA they sent me to the US Marshals office and the US marshals know nothing about it. I’m wondering if I should start looking else where for it, or if it’s still to early.

yes like the Regis model. However one larger room would be shared desk maybe even a counter that everyone can sit at together.  The cosharing would be a short term lease month to month.

Has anyone done any cosharing workspace?  A space that has all the office equipment an people pay for a membership versus lease. I have a comercial office building that is 12 years old and to this day it has never been over 75% filled. I have a population of about 60k within 15 mi radius. Would love for this property to pay its own way, and I'm thinking low cost membership may work with work from home people.
