@Jay Hinrichs
This is an incredible endeavor. You are truly an inspiration to me as you are demonstrating brotherly love by giving back to the BP community. This is also a great opportunity for Indianapolis and I thank you for that.
My wife volunteers with a non-profit organization that helps international refugees and immigrants learn English and assimilate into American culture. One of our goals in moving to this city a few months ago form Springfield, MO is to use my real estate career to help provide housing for veterans, international students and returning missionaries who may have trouble finding housing or getting financing for housing as many are returning with little income and/or little credit history as they have been out of the country and often can't show a stable income. This happened to my wife and I when we returned from serving overseas in Kazakhstan for two years doing volunteer work. We could not show a stable income for the past two years and had trouble acquiring a vehicle and a house.
I myself am interested in this opportunity and would like to be considered. I do live in Indianapolis and I am a new investor currently working on my mailing list to send out my first Yellow Letter campaign. I have not yet acquired my first property but hope to obtain it from this campaign.
I will be able to chronicle and post photos showing the progress of the rehab.
I am very happy to hear that a portion of the proceeds are going to a charitable organization.
With that being said, if I may be able to vote, I would vote that this project go to @David Lecko. He is a young, enthusiastic, communicative brand new investor who I believe would do you proud in this undertaking.
Respectfully,
David Gunn
