Anybody doing this to help their SS's? I'm watching a webinar (yes with one of the "gurus") and I had never heard of using a loan audit to help get deals done. Of course they haven't made it at all clear what exactly a loan audit consists of - hopefully someone here can expand on the subject?

peppermint essential oil - just rub it around where they are entering the house if you can find it.

its very strong and will burn your eyes if you don't wash them after handling it so be careful. its also a great digestive tonic and great for sore muscles.

James HAfA is a program designed to streamline the foreclosure process(or rather avoid foreclosure) for lenders and use standardized documents. The banks now receive payouts from our gov't when they do a SS or DIL - yet another round of bail-outs if you will. It benefits the banks b/cit allows them to not only save money on foreclosure proceedings, but they actually get paid to do them now. Up to $6,000 for each lien holder, plus another $1500 for "administrative costs". Granted, the owner can get up to $3,000 in moving expenses, its still another way the banks are getting out easy.

If the banks didn't like the program, why would they voluntarily participate?

I think workerdrone nailed it in one word - presentation. the thing is just nice to look at. I'm not an apple fanboy or whatever, but i've never met anyone who switched from a pc to a mac and then back, same goes for anyone who's owned an iphone or an ipod. Apple's new products by and large have been "game changers" across the board.

Where Apple's products shine in my opinion is ease of use. I think the iPad will be much more useful for realtors showing comps as workerdrone has stated, but I could definitely see myself using one as an investor. It will depend on the apps of course - but if you can relate what the ipad and itunes did for managing music to what an iPad could do to organize your investments then hopefully you see that it could be a "game changer". I almost despise my spreadsheet format that I use to track my deals, but this is the most highly touted method for managing deals in the pipeline. Hell maybe I need to get to work on an app for the thing

E Raymond - I would suggest reading the articles here on BP. also you may want to go through ALL of the SS posts - I did and it helped clarify a few things for sure. you are already in the place to learn everything you need to know to get started.

do you have any specific questions?

yeah i was wondering that also nick. i know we should have more than one exit strategy set up so I'm guessing you have a list of buy and hold investors or wholesalers that you go to if you can't sell for retail?
