@James Wise thank you that book/article was very helpful. Do most people that have read it feel it is still current and accurate? Are there any areas that has been downgraded? Are there any that have potential be upgraded?

Based on your work title, I'm assuming you have a pretty demanding job. I recommend you access your bandwidth first to determine how much time you can realistically spend on RE investing and whether it makes sense for you to be an active or passive investor.

Hi everyone. I have been listening to the BP podcast for quite a while and looking through the BP forums as well. I finally decided to join the community so that I can participate, learn from everyone and hopefully be helpful to others on the forums.

I am looking to get started in REI. I am interested in buying and holding and buying, renovating and holding SFRs and small multi-family investments in the Cleveland area to produce passive income.

For my day job I am a VP of Marketing and Product Management at a specialty coatings company in Boston, MA.
