Hi John Christian Welcome to BP! When you say you have investors, do you mean investors to provide funds for your deals, or investors to wholesale the deals to? Either way, what is your plan for finding properties? Do you have anything in the works now? I would be interested in land deals in Fairfield county or north haven area south along the Merritt and I-95. Good luck!

Welcome to BP @Seth Glasgow

If you're just starting out I would definitely check out all of the links @Paul Timmins suggested and look into networking with local investors. It is a lot easier to meet and get to know people that you could partner with on deals to get your start than trying to come up with private money or people to invest with you when you have little experience and poor credit. Good luck!

Hey @Kev James

Welcome to BP, it really is the best place on the web to learn about real estate investing. I'm down in Norwalk, but have done some rehab work up in your area for other investors if you ever come across a deal and want some estimates or advice on the construction side of things.

Welcome and good luck!

Thanks @Jonathan Makovsky for organizing, it was great meeting so many new people and seeing a few I haven't seen in a while.

I'm looking forward to the next one and spreading the word!

Hey Kristen Snyder! Welcome to BP. I would agree with Karin DiMauro that a wholesale in 30 days may be an overly aggressive goal. The biggest misconception about wholesaling is that it is an easy way into real estate investing. In reality it actually involves a lot of up front work to find deals because you have to find better deals than anyone else in order to have enough for your buyer to make a profit on top of your wholesale fee. If you're trying to get into a deal quickly I would suggest reading up on BP about marketing to sellers and then put together a marketing plan that fits your budget. Then go at it. While at the same time networking like crazy to find investors and cash buyers in your area so that when you get that deal you sell it fast. Good luck!!

I would be interested in a meet up somewhere. Let's make this happen.
