Hi @Victor N.

While you can't fully inspect the house without the electricity or gas, you can typically get a pretty good idea of the condition of furnaces by simply looking for install/maintenance dates and general condition of the unit and any baseboard elements, or water damage on floors and ceilings. Obviously you can't tell 100% but if there is any question as to its condition just budget for complete replacement and go from there.

It's always nice to see another investor from CT, hope this helps.

Dan

Hey @GregoryRobinson

Welcome to BP, I also just recently joined and live/work in the Fairfield County area of CT.

We should connect some time. Good luck!

Hey Sean McGirr Welcome to BP. It's a great place to learn and listen and ask questions. I wish I knew about BP eight years ago when I got started at your age. Luckily I have had family in RE that helped me along and found plenty of mentors along the way. Explore BP as much as possible, there is a ton of info here and try to meet as many people who are in the business and will I to answer questions. Good luck! Dan

Hi Jason Roberts Great to hear from someone else in the FC area. I live in Norwalk and am most interested in deals along 95 from Stamford to Fairfield and up route 7 to Wilton, Ridgefield, Weston and possibly New Canaan if I found the right deal there. As a contractor I have been doing renovation work as far north as Meriden and North Haven but would prefer keeping things closer to home. Thanks for responding so quickly.

Hi Everyone, I've been on BP for about 7 months now and really appreciate the wealth of knowledge this community has put together. These forums contain so much information it's incredible. As I said in my profile, I'm a contractor and investor in the Fairfield County area of CT. I would love to hear from any other investors in the area and see about getting together. I look forward to hearing from you and being a part of this community. Dan
