Seasoned investor from the midwest. I am a licensed real estate broker in KS and MO. We are moving to Phoenix, AZ. Any recommendations for a good real estate agent?  Can be a new agent too. Thanks in advance.

@Ryan Guffey I used real estate express for both my license and then my broker's license. I really liked them. They don't offer the KS broker course but they offer everything else for MO and KS. DM me if you have any other questions.

@Ryan Guffey you can find all that info online. You have to take a 24 and 48-hour course, then pass the national and state portion of the test. It can be taken completely online and you have six months to complete the course and test.

@Surinder Hothi @Brianna Reynolds would be happy to discuss. We run Fountain City Property Solutions "a property management company for investors, run by investors."  If you have questions Brianna or I would be happy to answer them.

@Ryan Guffey - yes, get it! We have literally saved tens of thousands of dollars, close to 100k, by having our license and keeping the purchase commission and not paying the 3% of a sale commission.  Plus you have the ability to pull accurate comps and info only available to agents. If you want DM me. We run a brokerage that specializes in working with investors and all our agents our investors. Our goal is to help them become better investors (we have been full time investing for 3.5 years - 68 flips, 7 rentals, PM company, etc...) so they can better help their clients better and grow their own portfolio.

I love KCMO. We moved here 3.5 years ago to start investing full time. 68 flips later (12 for OOS investors) 7 rentals, a property management company, and brokerage in KS and MO that caters to investors - we are hooked. I have so many good things I could say about this place. Great schools. Friendly landlord laws. Low cost of entry. Great growth. Decent appreciation. High rents. Etc... If anyone has an interest in Kansas City I am happy to send out an information email with a PDF on zipcodes and links. Helpful if you are in the exploration phase.

@Jenn Chism welcome! We run a boutique brokerage in MO and KS that caters to investors. We are a brokerage "for investors and run by investors." Love seeing fellow investor-friendly agents out there.  I would love to chat if you want. DM me.

@Kim Tucker - I heard there was going to be a local MAREI starting up. Third Thursday of the month, is that true? ;-)

@Gordon Cuffe and @Jake Lee - couldn't agree more. KC market is fantastic and Kim Tucker is awesome. I am a little bias though, I am starting up a new meet up under her MAREI group. Anyways, we have flipped 68 houses here, have a brokerage that specializes in helping investors, a property management company, and own 7 rentals. If either of you need some advice on KC or good subcontractor contacts please don't hesitate to reach out. We are happy to help.
