Both of these seem to be hot markets based on the feedback of several of our clients. I saw recently that Tampa is expecting a housing boom.

You can find a CPA here on BP that works remotely clients in all states. Most have extensive experience working with STR owners.

I recommend presenting your current situation and long term goals. Then ask an open ended question and let the CPA do the talking. 

"Given my situation, how can your firm add value to me now and in the future?"

If you purchase in your personal name and quitclaim the deed to a new LLC, I wonder how solid the LLC is for asset protection, given that the loan would still be in your personal name.

It would be worthwhile to consult with an asset protection attorney prior to going that route.
