@Nestor Rosero I'm familiar with Newark. I see you're from Waldwick. What has attracted you to the Upper Clinton Hill section of Newark? Are you working with an agent or team in that area?

@Walter Ciucevich you can use meetup.com to find wholesalers or attend a local REIA meeting in your area. There will likely be a lot of wholesalers there. And as @Nicole A. said, you can call the "I buy houses" signs and find them that was as well. Don't forget you can also Google them too.

Hi @Kendra Wilson the assessment of the home is generally not indicative of the value of the home. Regardless of if it is, wholesaling works with motivated sellers who NEED to sell and are looking for a way out. You are there to provide that avenue for them. If they don't accept your offer, that's fine - just move on to the next seller.

@Samantha Santaniello when I started I worked with FS Houses and Decas. I've hard of Memphis Invest, but haven't worked with them personally.

@Kulin Dakwala I know what you mean about buy and hold in NJ being difficult. How do you like the Detroit market? Did you look at any other markets in making your decision?

@Mike Snyder, are you interested in holding any paper on any of these properties?

@Samantha Santaniello which companies are you speaking with? Let me know which markets interest you. That's how I got started as well, with turnkey companies.

@Kuau Garsson Hoboken is definitely out of reach to receive good returns! The trade-off is that you'd have to go to Newark, an area which some people are not very fond of. I know some people who have done very well in Newark, but it's not an area I personally choose to invest in. Have you thought of expanding into other markets to achieve a higher return? Do you like managing your own properties?

I agree completely @Samantha Santaniello. I personally invest in other markets as well, since I live in Passiac County. The taxes and price points are just outrageous here. Do you have any interest in learning about other markets besides Orlando? Let me know :)

Nice! Are you working with anyone down there? Have you looked at, or have interest, in any other markets?

@Samantha Santaniello I know what you mean! You will have to decide if it's more important to keep an eye on the property or get the return you are seeking. You will have to build your team in any market you choose, who you can trust. Thankfully, it's not as challenging as you may think. Where in Florida are you thinking?
