Thank you so much for all your support

Just want to update you on my situation 

I got my CO!!  The process was much easier than I expected 

I was very lucky my previous agent husband is a NYS licensed structural engineer 

He came over a evaluated the beam and wrote me a letter with what needs to be done

And we followed all the procedures and passed the inspection without any problem

Thank you BP for this wonderful platform I wouldn’t would have made it

Yes, he stated we need a design professional to do the proper footing 

I am contacting a structural engineer to come and we will do the work ourselves

I just left the inspector a message and I will contact a structural engineer for advise and get it done right

Hello BP professionals 

I need some professional advise here; im rehabbing a foreclosure house in City Poughkeepsie NY; we passed electrical inspection but during plumbing inspection the inspector caught the beam my husband and I installed without proper footing because we did it for extra support it’s a 150 old house but we didn’t remove any beams or headers 

Now the inspector asking us to get the professional to replace it but I don’t have the funding to do it

Can I just simply remove the beam? 

I need the CO to close on refi !!

Please advise
