I understand your point Curtis, but have to disagree with you. For our business, we are an educational resource for real estate investors, so any relevant news we can provide to our Twitter followers, in my opinion, is useful.

I also noticed that our Twitter account has a Google PR of 5, which is quite good.

I use google's keyword tool - http://www.google.com/sktool/ - which I've found extremely helpful for extracting keyword phrases from your websites content.

I receive Google news updates daily, then post interesting REI related news links on Twitter. But I do think there are specific times when Twitter traffic is highest. If I can recall correctly, its 12:00-1:00 pm EST Tue-Thu, but could be wrong.

Anybody have feedback on the best times to post Tweets? I've seen a bunch of articles online, but would love to get everyone's opinions on this matter.

A lot of people utilize tweetdeck, but I've hear that it uses a lot of your system resources. Has anyone experienced significant system slowdown when running this app?

I use socialoomph.com to schedule tweets, which works well.

Don't know much about Detroit, except that its been in a declining state for quite sometime, and only seems to be getting worse. Useful post for anyone unfamiliar with the area. Thanks.
