So due to many opinions I've gotten by reading through these forums it seems going to my local REIA meeting is a key first step. My question is what should I be looking for when I go and should I be talking to people or just sit back and absorb all the information the first time. I'm interested to hear any and all responses on this subject. I appreciate it, thank you

Hey everyone! I'm 19 years old out of manchester NH. I've been researching a lot these past few months and I'm planning to attend my first REIA Meeting next month. Currently I have 2 different partners with capital wanting to do flips with me this year and I'm also planning on getting my real estate license before then to save on commission. I'm trying to make this a long term business for myself and wanna start as early as possible. Love that I'm not the only young one on here :) good luck everyone and I'd be very interested to network with the young crowd and let everyone else know how we're doing. Keep in touch

Thank you very much! That's something I've been thinking about a lot if it was worth it to get my real estate license first, I've had a lot of mixed reviews some saying it means nothing and others saying how powerful of a tool it is so thank you for your side of it

I appreciate your responses guys I definitely should've been more clear in my post. I'm a beginner investor but I've already aligned myself with a partner to do a flip this spring so I will know a lot more once that is complete but after I'm finished that flip I'm looking for another partner that could be more of a permanent thing. Thank you for taking the time to reply though guys it means a lot
