Hello Paul, Welcome to the postings.
You do have a lot of experience with homes and commercial. It will help you with investing in real estate. Have you considered joining a REI club in your area? That is a great way to start and network with people in the area and to learn the market. Of course, the people who post here will also help you. Again, welcome.

Hello, It is good that you are still building your education. Knowledge is very important. I would suggest joining your local REI club after you get out of the service. You will be able to network with people that have more experience and also you will be able to learn your market area.

By the way, thank you for your time in the armed services. Good luck.

Hello Juzamjedi,
I also do not usually give relationship advice. But, it seems that you have the opportunity to do an experiment. It seems that you will need to prove your position to your fiance.
I suggest dividing your monies three ways. One third pays the bills, one third is hers to spent however she likes and the last one third is yours to invest. After say, at least one year, see who is more financially secure. In the long run, your investments will have more value than the high end items that she spent her money on. Again, this is a suggestion to prove your point.

Hello, You can continue your education here in the postings. But, be sure to get your feet wet soon. An education is only as good as the use of the information. Good Luck!

Hello and Welcome, You say that you have some experience.
What type of experience? What part of real estate investing are you considering doing?
If you would like to meet rich, successful investors, then you may want to join your local REI club and network with those type of people. Also, you will learn about your market. A continued education is always important.

Hello Ryan, It sounds like you stay pretty busy with your current business. What type of real estate are you considering doing...rehab, purchase and hold, rentals, etc.?

Hello Everyone,

Is it easy to find funding?

What do you look for from the lender?
