@Marcus Auerbach really great insight and helpful perspective on the oranges example. Something to definitely think about when evaluating properties in that price range and identifying what that sweet spot is.

I am looking to purchase a duplex in Milwaukee, WI as an investment property. Any local realtors you have liked working with?

I am exploring multi-family properties for under 175K for my first investment property. I am looking into more turnkey properties but would also do minimal repairs.  From your experience, what would be the best city to invest in?

@Crystal Smith you bring up some incredible points to think of when evaluating if this is the right investment option. If I were to do this, I would not be looking to do an investment property in the Chicago area. @Tyler Jahnke wow 33 pages and will definitely dive into that! Interesting point/perspective with the repairs being the same on a 30K house versus an 100K house. @Andres A. I would be looking at houses where the purchase price is 30K, rent it out and do the necessary repairs.

@Eric X. thanks for that insight and would most likely be looking to invest out of state! @Richard Damian seems like you picked the right property based on the comps in the area and keep it up! @Doug Crenshaw appreciate you going over the difference of returns there.
