Hi

I am working on screening some new handymen as my current ones seem too busy. I was interested in knowing …

Do you typically state your rate up front ?

Several usually say they need to see the job, but then end up quoting high prices once onsite. Has anyone dealt with this type of situation ?

What is a fair hourly rate for a local handyman ?

Thanks

Chuck

Thanks Brian and Erik !

Unfortunately this is in a condo I am renting that is located on the 2nd floor.  It my neighbor in the below unit that is complaining as he hears the knocking noise every time my tenant turns the water off.  Interestingly enough we don’t seem to hear the knocking noise in my unit.

Hi

Looking for some advice. I have a condo unit where the pipes in the wall recently started making a knocking noise every time the water is used. Seems when the tenant flushes the toilet or runs the shower. Any ideas ?

Thanks

Chuck
