Anyone have an excellent lender in WI that we can use for a condotel condo purchase?   20-25% down is not an issue, and neither is credit or income.  Having issues finding someone to work with us!

Racine is a great pocket for cash flow, and has tremendous appreciation upside.  many of the large corporate footprints have rebounded strongly from the 2007 recession.

IMHO - interview tradespeople, lenders, and realtors.  Those would, without a doubt, be the first people on my team.   The lender helps get your finances in order, the realtors can walk you through areas to invest in, and the tradespeople need to know the permit laws in those areas.

One consideration is that mobile homes are not considered real estate in Il, they are personal property.  While you may get to live for free, depreciation is unlikely and holding costs are high with park fees. If you do it, I’d write in a lease to own option for your roommate so you can live free, and have an exit strategy
