If your credit score is good, your business address isn't in your home

Thank you, gentlemen, for your thoughtful remarks.  I do appreciate your responses and they have provided me with some things to think about.  @Stanley Whigham, would you suggest opening a P.O. box for a business mailing address?

Hello BP.  I am just starting to develop a real estate portfolio and I would appreciate your advice with reference to tracking business expenditures.  I have not done a single deal, but will enter real estate with single family home properties.  Should I get a business credit card, or should I just use my personal credit card for business?  Of course, my concern is asset and personal protection.  If getting a business credit card is the way to go, I'd appreciate suggestions as to which card I should look into (or are they all about the same?).

Thank you in advance,

Chris

Hello BP.  I'd like to connect with a reputable agent and/or broker based in the Reno area.  I would appreciate references from those who've had positive experiences with real estate professionals in the Reno market.

Hi Kashaela.  I am also seeking a reputable real estate agent in the Reno area.  I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with your mother in law.  May I have her contact information?

Thank you!

I am planning on purchasing buy and hold properties out of state.  I do not plan to invest with a partner(s) at this time.

I would appreciate your CPA's contact information.  I will eventually be needing one.

Thank you again, Chris

Thank you for your reply, Assaf. I have devoted much time thus far (and will continue to do so) on generating a business plan. I am, at this point, unsure which step to make first, however - focus first on acquiring a property, or creating an LLC/corporation first followed by property acquisitions. This is something I'd like to discuss with a real estate attorney. Any thoughts on creating an LLC vs. a corporation prior to buying?

I am new to this industry and understand the importance of getting off to a good start by building a team of professionals who are also real estate investors.  I would appreciate any recommendations regarding a real estate attorney and/or a CPA in the San Jose, CA area.  If you have a reference, please provide some detail as to why you think your reference is good (or bad!).

Thank you, BiggerPockets community.  I look forward to your reply(s).
