Really sad what happened to all of those investors and I wish Clayton would have gone and seen what was going on in Indy

He knew what was going on in Indy.

Morris is coming to his hometown of Philadelphia to speak at a real estate conference on November 5 to discuss this horrible chain of events in his life and how he has survived it, doubling down on his efforts to teach others the power of being in control of your finances and your future.

That should prove interesting.

 Before anyone asks me, no I am not going to Philly to film it. lol. One 3 hour Clayton Morris film is enough for my team for awhile. Need to get some relaxation going into the Holidays.

You did a great job on the film. Kudos to you and your team. Here's the thing. All these Morris Invest victims don't have a voice. They don't have a YouTube channel with a 100,000 subscribers. They don't have a podcast. They don't have a blog. These are people that are living their lives. And the way I see it is this - your video allowed those people to have a voice - to tell their story and to get their message out there. And to have Clayton delete their comments and attempt to suppress their voice with a copyright protection claim.... It's absolutely shameful...

I don't read it that way at all. I think he is absolutely going to continue to ignore the facts. He lives in a reality distortion bubble. I mean, read the first line of that document. He fulfilled the dream of moving his family to Europe? When was that a dream? He started a real estate business in the US two years earlier, yet he had a dream of moving to Europe and move his kids to a non-English speaking country? This makes no sense whatsoever. I think what @JayHinrichs has stated many times in the past is absolutely correct. Money became a drug and he continued to chase it. Plus I think it got to a point, with legal fees, etc. that it became necessary. This line of crap about him being financially free is just that - a line of crap. He needs money. He makes money doing what he's doing. Otherwise, he'd just go away. But he needs a continuous line of income coming in, so he keeps doing the only thing he knows.

 Yea your probably right. I hadn't actually read the full document that was in that weird looking play window when I posted my comment. They had that quote they I posted here posted below the play window and I assumed the play window was going to be a promo video of some sort.

When you go up into the play window and move around that document to read the whole thing there is some wild stuff in there like the obvious spin that moving to Europe was a dream. That's actually really funny that they are spinning moving to Europe as his lifelong dream now. Ya see, in his lawsuit against me his attorney cited the reason for their move to Portugal was to avoid continued harassment and they claimed I invaded his privacy by talking about it in my film lol.

All that said though I dunno I still feel like this is a bit of a change of course for him. I think his previous plan was to ignore this and hope it all goes away. I believe they've stated in their one video response after all the news coverage came out that they were going to talk about it once in that response then move on. Now he's gotta come all the way back to the USA and circle back to the topic, albeit with the above mentioned spin.

yep - I agree. He did think it would blow over and he would be able to continue with business as usual. I don't think he really gets what he's done. This guy has literally ruined hundreds of people's lives. And then he just continues on like nothing's happened. But when it didn't blow over, he had to change up. First by leaving the country. But his strategy is all wrong. In your video James, you had those two guys from High Return Real Estate on. They mentioned having to help get their clients out of this mess that they got into. And they mentioned that it has taken years so far and that they would throw a party when they finally get the last client settled. This is the strategy Morris should have taken. He should have made a list and said, "I'm going to make this right for everyone on the list. It may take years. It may cost 2 million dollars. But I'm going to continue to help these people until the last one is made whole." He would have been a hero. He would have been loved. Then he really could have put a message out there that he wants to help people acheive financial freedom. He would have had hundreds of people coming to his defense when all these articles were published and videos created instead of having them bash him in the comments. But he chose to turn his back on these people and play the victim card. It's not working out too well for him, and guess what - it's going to follow him around for the rest of his life. Honestly, it's not too late. He could adopt a new stategy and turn things around. I'd be willing to work with him if he did. What does he care if it costs him millions? He knows how to make money. He can make more money in the future. He's financially free!

He is simply SLAPPing you. Thats all it is. In your state, are there any anti-slapp regs available? If so, he just added to his troubles.

 No Anti-SLAPP law in Ohio

 On Oct 8th Clayton was given 10 business days to supply YouTube with proof of a court order against me. If he is unable to do so it should be back up on Oct 22nd or Oct 23rd.

 Right - business days - I forgot...

Seems like a pretty tough task to accomplish when you are hunkered down in Portugal avoiding the United States.

As a side note to the above has anyone seen the most recent Morris Invest video? It was released last night. It's titled "mistakes don't exist" Essentially it is Clayton Morris giving a monologue about mistakes being good for entrepreneurs and the world in general. He goes into some stories about Henry Ford loosing all of his investor's money not once, but twice and then some nonsense about Albert Einstein only figuring out E = MC² due to the mistakes he's made. Lol, sounds an awful lot like a guy who's trying to prep his audience for a storm as he knows his goose is cooked with this video coming out.

@David Barnett @Russell Brazil @Trent Chance @Ola Dantis @Phil Dodd @Mike Dymski @Roni E. @Ryan Evans @Kathy Fettke @Joel Fine @Mike H. @Jim K. @Robert Matelski @Chad McLeod @Dennis M. @Pavel Shemyakin @Tanner Marsey @Lamont Marable @Jay Hinrichs @Robert Collins @James Wilcox @Victor S. @Tim S. @Chris Seveney @Joel Owens

So I'm guessing we'll see this trailer back online on Friday the 18th then?
