I'm in Wichita. What kind of financing are you looking for? I'm guessing you are looking at this for a long term rental?

Jared, there is actually a REIA meeting this Saturday night. And I'm going to be presenting at the June meeting. I've been interested in investing in real estate for a while but I am also creating a speciality in doing taxes for real estate.

New real estate investor in the Wichita, KS area. Joined my local REIA a couple months ago and started diving into learning and listening to several different podcasts including Bigger Pockets. I'm a CPA and work at a local firm. Looking to buy my first property in the next 6 months to a year and will probably start with a duplex that I plan to live in one side of. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.
