Hello everyone!

I really want to invest in buy and hold. The problem is I do not have a W-2 job. I work for a family member and I bring home decent money ($800-$1500 weekly)

I was wondering what are some good strategies I can use to start investing?

Welcome to BP! you can start by just asking questions here on the forum. I would also recommend reading "The Ultimate Beginners Guide to Real Estate Investing. you can find it at biggerpockets.com/ubg

GOOD LUCK!

You can use websites such as Listsource.com or you can drive around neighborhoods and look for distressed properties.

What ever contract you use I would recommend running it through an attorney to make sure it protects you! Every state is different.
