@NedCarey - so here's the rub. How can you hook up with an RE when you're new and don't have that track record behind you? It's like a catch 22!

Do I need a real estate agent to get me started in wholesaling? More to the point, are there RE agents willing to work with investors like wholesalers?

We already had another engagement today but your points above are exactly why I wasn't so broken up about not attending. Even though there was supposedly to be no selling from the stage, I'm not interested in hearing the string along and then being pumped up to pay for the "close." Better to get the info here and at face to face chapter meetings, meet ups, etc., and put the $$ into your marketing, imho.

Erik, my mother in law and one sister in law live in SA. I'm new to investing and definitely would be open to opportunities in the SA area. My SIL lives near La Canterra. In fact, if you can find deals deep enough, we could double flip to her and my BIL. ha ha! Good luck to you!

Brandon Turner if you're looking for ideas for career path "checklists" - I'd love to see them for wholesaling, buy and hold rehab flips and lease options. You know, just a few things ;-) !!
