Real estate agent necessary for a wholesaler?
Do I need a real estate agent to get me started in wholesaling? More to the point, are there RE agents willing to work with investors like wholesalers?

Do you need and agent No. Can one be helpful, mainly in finding deals yes.
There are agents that work with investors and know that you whole intention is reselling the property. However they are rare and may not be excited about working with someone new until they know you can perform.
Personally I rarely buy listed properties. I look at it this way. I want to buy below market. The MLS is the market.
