@Payman A. what part of Louisiana is this in? If I can help, let me know. I would see if there is a way to fire the listing agent due to failure to act in your best interest. I am a local investor and REIA owner with many connections throughout the state. I know we have our fair share of issues here but this doesn't have to happen to you. If I can help, I would be happy to.

Which part of Louisiana is it in? We deal with land down here and may be interested in figuring out the landlocked issues.

Hey Lindsay! Welcome to the forums and to BP! I am an investor, wholesaler and REIA owner based out of Slidell. If I can help point you in any direction or help you with anything, please don't hesitate to ask. I do this full time.

I am not an agent but I could recommend a broker or two that are not only investor friendly, but they themselves are a huge source of wisdom. If you are not looking to get your license for the retail side then the broker that you choose, in my opinion, is similar to choosing a mentor. Two of the brokers I would suggest have been actively investing for over 25yrs. They're the pros that I go to with my questions.

You're welcome to find out more about the local real estate investors meet up that we have for the Northshore by looking up Northshore Real Estate Investors Association on Facebook or looking at the links on my profile on here. Our main meetings are every second Tuesday of the month with our next being on December 11th. We meet in Slidell but starting in 2019 we will have additional meet ups in different areas like Hammond, Mandeville, etc.

Again, feel free to reach out if I can help. Best of luck on your ventures!

Hi @Mesha R.
As a REIA owner, I second the Meetup.com / app. It is a great way to find local meet ups that may be real estate focused. I am not aware of any meet ups in Northern LA but I do know that there are active investors up there. BiggerPockets is a great place to network.
Best of luck in your ventures!

Northshore REIA has a meet up for this being rolled out in 2019. I am not aware of anything else in the area.

Hi @Andrew Vaught welcome to BP! I live in Slidell and invest, run a REIA for the Northshore area and wholesale frequently. Here are a few of my thoughts:
- Contact the owners of MFR that fit your criteria. Especially if they have a small for rent sign out front.
- Network with local wholesalers and property managers. They know of the off market deals.
- Buy single families and eventually 1031 Exchange them when possible for a MFR when they become available.

Just some thoughts. Best of luck and let me know if I can help connect you!
